Matt's Notes:
"When creating the recipe for our Chocolate Martini, I was seeking to capture the decadence of rich chocolate, with a luxurious mouthfeel. It's amazing how much aroma and flavour we capture from the cacao with our infusion process. No flavourings are used. All the aroma, flavour and colour is from the original, natural cacao.
We make our spirits and liqueurs here in Norfolk and are inspired by the highest quality ingredients we can find around the world.
Thanks to my sister Lucy, for the cacao pictures that she took on her travels around the chocolate lands."
We use the King of Cacao - organic Criollo cacao beans - from the heart of the Peruvian Amazon. This rare, very high-quality aromatic bean is considered a delicacy and prized for its superior flavour. The quality of this cacao stands out: with no tannins to bring bitterness or sharpness. Criollo cacao offers a uniquely smooth, naturally sweet, and rounded taste.
We infuse the raw cacao with vodka as part of our process to create a decadent rich drink, that looks destined to be one of our best-sellers.
Cacao farming in the Peruvian Amazon supports local communities, providing livelihoods for many families. It helps preserve traditional farming methods and promotes biodiversity conservation in the region.

You can have a lot of fun with our Chocolate Martini. Serve it straight up, over ice, or over ice-cream.
Add a splash of orange liqueur to make a Chocolate Orange Martini, or make a Strawberries and Cream Chocolate Martini - see recipe below.
